Excitement is palpable in Harnett County as it gears up to reveal its newest feature, the brand-new Harnett Regional Jetport Terminal. Set for a grand opening on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., this event is poised to be a momentous celebration. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will offer an exclusive look at the state-of-the-art facilities, including the cutting-edge technology that TAV collaborated with the jetport to install. For aviation enthusiasts, there will be static aircraft displays, county booths, business showcases, food trucks, and more, ensuring a delightful experience for attendees of all ages.

The new all-purpose room at the jetport is equipped with cutting-edge audiovisual technology provided by Tri-Tronics Audio Visual. Boasting a state-of-the-art sound system, web conference capabilities, and seamless integrations, this room is primed to host a wide range of events with ease and sophistication. The construction of the Harnett Regional Jetport terminal began in February 2023 and is nearing completion, with the facility set to open its doors to the public later this month. Greg Frank, Director of Harnett Regional Jetport, expresses his excitement about the new terminal, emphasizing its role in serving tenants, guests, and the public for years to come.


As one of the fastest-growing counties in North Carolina, Harnett County is home to over 137,000 residents (according to Harnett County Economic Development) and is experiencing significant economic growth. The Harnett Regional Jetport plays a pivotal role in supporting this growth, ranking among the top airports in the state for jobs supported and economic output.
